The center manufactures and sells cream cheese, natural cheese, dairy drinks, etc., including Zao Cheese, which is born from Zao’s vast natural bounty.
Inside the Cheese Cabin facility, visitors can sample cream cheese and see many cheese products on display.
There is also a cheese restaurant and a snack facility on the same premises where visitors can enjoy soft-serve ice cream and cheesecake.
The Zao Cheese Factory produces cream cheese and other fresh and aged cheeses and dairy products.
Cheese drinks made from pasteurized milk and cheese whey are also popular. A wide variety of natural cheeses are available for tasting, but factory tours are not currently offered.
On the premises, there is a restaurant where visitors can enjoy cheese dishes, a facility where visitors can buy handmade bread, and a “rose garden” where approximately 400 kinds of roses bloom in various colors depending on the season.
The best time to see the roses is from early June to early July, but some types bloom in other seasons as well. Admission to the rose garden is free, so please visit.
